fjällräven kånken: the rise of the swedish backpack

ImageOver the past five or so years, i’ve noticed a lot of things in London but one of the things i’ve noticed the most, is the popularity of fjällräven kånken. The iconic Swedish backpack has been a part of many children’s school lives across Scandinavia – many of my Swedish friends often tell me stories about their backpacks with a hint of nostalgia.  In certain parts of London however, fjällräven kånken has almost become the ‘it’ backpack to have and i’m really fascinated at how mainstream this brand has become. I guess the allure of classic Scandinavian style is just too irresistible!
